System scope license activation for Metashape Standard requires administrator privileges. For such activation that allows to use the same license by multiple user accounts on the same macOS machine we recommend to use activation from the Terminal with the following command:

sudo /Applications/Metashape.app/Contents/MacOS/Metashape --activate 11111-22222-33333-44444-55555

In the command provided above sudo prefix will ask for the administrator user password to complete the activation with the system scope (thus making the license available for all the users on the current machine), as the last argument you should use a valid license key (instead of the mock license key 11111-22222-33333-44444-55555).


Note that command assumes that Metashape.app application bundle has been copied to the /Applications/ directory. If the bundle is put to the different location, the command should be corrected and complete absolute path to the application bundle contents should be input.
